Bra fitting options (in South Australia)

Hey mums (in South Australia),
I’m really hoping someone can help me. I know things are still a bit tough at the moment with restrictions and majority of businesses being closed etc. but my 14 year old daughter really needs to get refitted for a bra as soon as possible as she’s quickly grown out of her current size. Being that Bras and Things and Innerwear are both currently still shut, does anyone know of anywhere else that’s open that does bra fitting? Is there anywhere else that even does it? Preferably somewhere up north, but I’m more than willing to travel if need be. She has needed a refit for quite some weeks now and is pretty uncomfortable. If there isn’t anywhere else we can go, do we either just keep waiting for the shops to reopen or even just possibly go buy another bra for the meantime in another size or two up from her current one to make do for now? Thank you in advance x

I’m very busty, so understand the importance of fittings. If you can’t find somewhere open, you can do a bit of guess work yourself. Many online stores have fitting guides. Get a tape measure and measure under her bust (around the rib cage) and then around the bust. You already know the bra she is wearing now and hopefully the size so using that knowledge you should be able to make an educated guess in what would work. Especially if you buy the same brand/style she is currently wearing in a different style.
Something I have to do, is order a number of bras I think will work on credit card and return what doesn’t fit for a refund.
If she isn’t a difficult to fit size, Kmart, bigW and target are all open so you should be able to take her in to try some on, just to get her through until she can be fitted.

Try contacting intimo. I think I’ve read in the emails I’ve received from them over the last couple of months that they are doing virtual fittings (they normally do parties). I assume once you’re in contact with a rep they will talk you through taking your own measurements then recommending what size to get. If you don’t mind spending a bit, they are THE most comfortable bras I’ve ever worn, and they last. Your other option is to just buy a variety in bigger cup sizes (assuming it’s only the cups that have gotten to small) and getting her to try them on. If they are too small return them, and if they’re too big hang onto them as she will grow into them.

I live rurally and with a newborn I was finding it impossible to get to a shop - I used Brava lingeries virtual fitter and had an awesome and very helpful experience. Otherwise I would do your own measurements and then order several different sizes and styles from somewhere like The Iconic that has free returns
