Ear issues

Has anyone on here ever had a perforated ear drum? My partner currently has one- I sent him to the hospital early hours of the morning 2 nights ago as he was bleeding. They confirmed, gave him nurofen and a script for drops and pain relief and sent him on his way. They told him, they can’t flush it and they don’t have an otoscope that is big enough to check the overall damage. They said you need to see a ear specialist but didn’t give a referral...the pain is apparently getting worse. Does anyone know where we go from here? Do we just call some specialist and see if they’ll take him. Do we head back for a second opinion🤷🏼‍♀️
