Immunosuppression for a 4 year old with eczema.

my 4 year old son has eczema that we struggle to get under control. We can control it with creams, but as soon as we stop the creams it comes back again. The doctors are looking at doing immunosuppression and I was interested to hear other people’s stories and if it was successful or not. Also what were the side effects that affected your child.

Allergy testing and exclusion of foods he was sensitive too was the only thing that helped us get our sons excema under control.

How much have you looked into the cause of his eczema? I only ask because for my son we've found he is lactose intolerant and it's cleared his eczema up

Yes we have removed foods and had allergy testing done. He still gets it on his face and body as soo. As we stop the creams.

Bath in bath oil 2 or 3 days a week? My daughter use to be kind of bad but I find if I bath her 2 times a week in bath oil, and moisturize every night it keeps it under control. She goes to her dads place for the weekend and comes back a tad rashy because he doesn't keep up with her routine and buys her the wrong stuff.
We use dermarveen, QV did not work one bit.
