Friend with Mental health issues who is in denial

I’m very concerned about my friend. I think she may have mental health problems maybe postnatal depression. She has had depression in the past and taken antidepressants but whenever I talk with her now it’s like She’s not present, she can’t handle her children on her own, she gets fixated on things just to name a few concerns we have.
Her husband is very concerned to. He has been to her doctor a few times and spoken with her that she needs help and it’s really not getting anywhere. We have suggested that she should see a psychologist and she just refuses.
I guess what I’m asking is how do you help someone who cant see there’s a problem?

Depending on how bad her husband could accompany her to the Drs about his concerns and request she is admitted for an inpatient stay.
My ex husband although he admitted he had depression was fiercely and violently against an inpatient stay.
I managed to get him to the Drs and wiped out my list of concerns before he knew what was going on. Lucky for me the GP agreed and together managed to convince him to go. Sometimes it’s just too scary to consider it.
One piece of advice though - ring the GP Before and advise them you will need a long visit and it’s regarding a serious mental health issue. Go with them, even if it’s just to be in the waiting room so she knows she has your support and no judgment.

When I had PND I was terrified of asking for help as I was convinced my children would be taken from me. I did eventually seek help but I guess my point is shemay have concerns she's not communicating. Be there for her and continue to support her.
