For the past two years I’ve had horrible periods and painful sex, I’ve gone to the doctor had an ultrasound, tried different birth control, however hasn’t gotten better
Last week I started getting horrible cramping pain without bleeding to the doctor sent me for another ultrasound including one on the inside it Xmas back with nothing so she has referred me to a gyno
I rang the gyno this morning to make an appointment expecting it to take a few weeks to get in but when I rang the receptionist said they had my referral and he wants to see me as an urgent case, and I’m seeing him next week.
I’m really scared :( I don’t really know what to expect when going to the gyno or why he wants to see me as an urgent case can anyone tell me what to expect At the appointment?

Sounds like endometriosis. Join some of the FB groups and chat with them.
I actually want to know what to expect at the appointment as I’ve never seen a gyno before not what it could be :)
I’d expect medical history (might be helpful if you kept a diary). External and internal examination.
They take medical history and discuss why your there, possibly do some tests if they haven’t been done already and then make a plan. Don’t be scared most are very friendly and understanding. Good luck!
Do you have a copy of the referral? Your doctor probably sent your scans there and the report.
It does sound like endometriosis.
I do have it, so I understand completely and have had ovarian cysts since I was 6 years old.
Try to unwind and just take some breaths. X
