Bikini line bumps and ingrown hair?

How do others deal with bumps and ingrown hair in their bikini areas? I shave daily, waxing is NOT an option!! Small town and very self conscious!!

I don’t. I wear boy leg bathers so everything is covered

I'd go out of town every 6 weeks in summer and get waxed. I can't shave as it rashes and gets ugly. You could try a body hair trimmer, or boardies.

I stopped shaving and use clippers instead and they do a really good job. No more ingrowns or itching from regrowth

Shave downward. No ingrown hairs, bumps, redness or itchiness

I'd be in horrific pain if I shaved every day, I honestly think just cutting back to once a week would solve some of the problem (surely you don't have you bikini line on show everyday?).

Other than that, look into laser!

In the meantime, get some vitamin e for the bumps/rashes and let your poor skin rest!

I would dare say that shaving everyday is the problem. Nobody actually needs to shave everyday. You would be taking more skin off than hair as it wouldn’t even be long enough to be visible yet. You could wax yourself. Easy to do and cheap

Don’t shave against the hair line.
