Overseas dental implants

Hi All,

I have a rare medical condition that has ruined my teeth and I’m losing them one by one. There is absolutely nothing I can do to stop my teeth from getting worse or losing them. I’ve spoken to many dentists and doctors and it’s inevitable.

I’ve been thinking about getting dental implants as this is really affecting my confidence in smiling and leaving the house. I feel self conscious if someone looks at my mouth when I talk or laugh as well. I also get serious jaw infections, which are agony.

Has anyone gone overseas (I’m thinking Thailand)? How much did it cost and can you recommend anyone?

For your sake please watch BOTCHED on Netflix. has many going overseas (from UK) for cheap dental work that ended in disaster.
Best to go to someone in the country you live in who is reputable 1st up or risk having dental fix up after you get back.

Implants will be affected in the long run the same way as natural teeth. You will loose your implants. Please speak to your usual dentist about the fact you are thinking of implants so they can explain it to you in more depth. I’m a dental practitioner & I would advise against even considering to do this.
