Yellow/Green Discharge

Yellow/Green Discharge

For months and Months I have suffered from a yellow/green vaginal discharge, it’s a strong potent smell, My husband says it smells like Pus, but I don’t know what pus smells like. There is that much of it that I have to wear a pad all day every day :(
I have stopped the pill to see if that helps but it hasn’t, I’ve been taking probiotics ever since I got it, I’ve started taking multivitamins, I’ve stopped washing with soap down there, I’ve tried femfresh and I’ve tried not using it, but nothing..I have been to my doctor several times who has tested me for all STIs, infections etc. I’ve been tested for everything, I’ve been giving medication for infections just in case it wasn’t showing up, I haven’t started any new medication. I finally went to see a Gynaecologist who says I have Cervical Ectropion, so basically my cervix is inside out but it’s nothing to worry about apparently. Also she found a couple of small polyps which she froze off there and then. She said discharge is normal and that was that.
Does anyone else have this type of problem?? Or have any advice?
I’m looking at going to see a different gyno. Please help, it’s making me so depressed.

Def go get a 2nd opinion, it doesn’t sound normal at all!

I've never ever had thrush or discharge in my life , I'm almost 50. Never had it in my youth either so it sounds like its abnormal the amount you are describing. However my friends swear by cannisten cream or pessaries. Get a new doctor .

I’ve had thrush many times and it’s NEVER been green yellow or smelt. There is something seriously wrong.

I have thrush a lot, it has never been an off colour and definitely never smelt like puss, I would be getting a new doctor and getting that seen to properly

It sounds like it could be bacterial vaginosis.

Definitely get that second opinion and don't let them dismiss you, discharge is normal and varies in consistency but it should never have a foul odour - that's definitely indicative of something going on.

Good luck love

Have you had blood sugar levels checked? Discharge/irritation can be an indication of high blood sugar level.
