Proposing

Hey so got a question about proposing
As the woman in the relationship what do you think of being the one who proposes too your partner instead of him doing it? I'm considering being the one too take the plunge I don't have doubt's per say too him saying no too getting married we talk about it all the time we have 3 kid's together but yet he still has not asked me so I'm thinking I'm just going too lay my card's out on the table and do it what do you ladies think? Would also love too hear from any ladies who were the one's too propose too their partner's and how they went about doing it

I have to admit I always thought I'd be the one doing the asking so I'm all for it (I was pleasantly surprised by my now husband- so surprised that my initial response was 'are you f@!king serious?) I was planning on doing the whole leap year thing but I think in your situation you should go for it!!

Every man I know in a long term relationship that talks about marriage but doesn't propose, doesn't actually want to be married. One man I know was proposed to and he said yes, but 8 years on they're still engaged. You have kids together.... Maybe just have an honest conversation to see if there is a reason he hasn't?

Was thinking the same, is there the possibility that he discusses it to appease you but doesn’t actually want to?
Wouldn’t he have proposed by now if that is what he wants?
We don’t know him so it’s hard to say.
I know someone who forced her partner to propose, ten years later, still not married.

After 3 kids together, what is the desire to be married realistically? What will it mean to your relationship and is it worth the financial burden weddings are?

I proposed to my husband. We've been together almost 20years! Go for it! Waiting for the man to propose is so old fashioned. It's 2019. My partner wanted to be married but is just totally unorganised. I booked a fancy hotel room in the city with a view overlooking the Yarra and proposed at midnight when the fireworks where going off. I gave him some beautiful cufflinks, one had "Will you" engraved on the back and the other "marry me?"
Best of luck!
