Wanting to ask people’s experience with holidaying in Thailand. My husband and I are going there for our 20 year Anniversary. Phuket or Bangkok? Where is good to stay? We don’t want to be in the busy parts / cities but don’t want to be completely isolated either. What resorts are good? I’ve been on trip advisor but getting lost in their recommendations and I don’t know Thailand at all! Thanks in advance!

We went to kho lak which we thought was a great mix of relax plus enough to do. We stayed in the Le meridian. We also went to Bangkok super busy!

Do you want city or beach? I would do both. Everyone speaking negatively of Phuket is probably meaning Patong. The rest of Phuket is beautiful
