Start a career from scratch

In brief, I did that famous, stupid mistake 9yrs ago .. just after marriage& travel twice for my husband's work .. I gave up everything in my life .. career, hobbies, friends...etc.
Please don't judge I'm having enough guilt & anger towards myself ..
Now, I'm feeling like just a mat on the floor, nothing more!
I can't go for my old job because it needs lots of travelling"overseas" and I can't leave my lil one..she's just 7 yrs old & I had suffered of having a selfish mother when I was young, I won't repeat this with my own kid.
I'm just seeking an advice .. what "professional" career can I start if I'm 35+ and doesn't affect my kid's life & connection between me and her .. Is there any successful stories about starting study & career over 35/40 years old?? Or should I accept any of what they call ( mothers' jobs) like child care worker or aged care support worker, which I'm not sure if I'll be happy continuing my life with such a job?

Find something you are interested in and go from there but please don't put down what you call 'mother jobs'. Its disrespectful and from what you say you clearly don't understand the skills required and the importance of these jobs.

Thank you for your reply .. I'm sorry if my words seems disrespectful.. I of course don't mean it & carry full respect to these lovely mums who could do anything to stay strong & beside their kids .. I just hear this Word alot ( mother's job) and I xan't find myself in such a job where everyday is simuler to the other day .. also, and honestly I can't find myself in a job I'm taking care of someone else .. I spent lots of time doing this .. I want to take care of myself now .. want to releases my passion & be Alice again..
Hope you understand me & sorry if my words were an offense!

I’m an aged and disability support worker . 20 percent of my work team are men . As for childcare almost all of them are women . It’s a fact of life that most of these roles hold women .
