Milk when no baby

Milk when no baby

Does anyone else sometimes get the let down reflex feeling in their breasts when they haven’t recently had a baby?
I felt this at work today, of all places, and decided to have a look when I got home. Squeezed the nipples and there’s a bit of milk!
My youngest child is 10. I stopped breastfeeding him 5 years ago (he had a little suck before bed at night at that stage, not the whole feed!).
I have breastfed 🤱 all four of my kids so I know what that sensation feels like.
I’m 44, periods still as regular as clockwork. Started puberty very late, at 20 and had to have hormone therapy to get started in the first place.
Any idea what would cause this??

Go to gp ASAP! Could be a number of different things like pituitary tumour to benign hormonal things

I have a pituitary tumour and don't leak, however I get the let down feeling a lot and sometimes my nipples secrete a little mucous type stuff. I was told they aren't related.
