Dandruff

Hi ladies 👋

I am hoping I can get some advice and product recommendations.

I get dandruff and it’s really starting to bother me! I hate using the anti dandruff products, I hate the smell, I hate that it leaves my hair feeling dry, looking dull, and leaves that smell.
I’m too embarrassed to ask my hairdresser for what I could use/do. I keep my hair washed, I get my hair cut every month and I just can’t stand how dry my hair feels.

So what’s the BEST thing to use, how do I fix this dandruff and what product can I use to bring back the soft/healthy shine to my hair and where can I find it?

Thank you x

Is it white flakes? Or thick yellow scale that you have to pick off with a finger nail?
If it’s white flakes it’s actually dry scalp and not dandruff and you need to use a moisture shampoo
If it’s thick yellow scale that’s dandruff and you need to use something like matrix anti dandruff or scalp sync to help put your scalp back on track
Go and see your local hairdresser for help

Don’t be afraid to ask your hairdresser. That’s their job.

One thing I always ask my clients is, do they dry their hair thoroughly? If you wet your hair and are leaving moisture sit there on your scalp, you’re going to dry it out. So make sure you only wet your hair when you’re going to wash it and after washing, give it a really good towel dry and blow dry the roots/scalp area to make sure it’s completely dry.

A lot of people who get bad dandruff tend to wash hair and tie it up, which means the hair sits wet on the scalp for up to a whole day drying it right out
