Anxiety.

Anxiety.

One year ago my kind, funny, talented daughter started suffering with anxiety. Horrible life changing anxiety. She has been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder by a clinical psychologist. She is no longer bubbly, she is withdrawn, worries about everything and thinks she is different.
No one asks her how she is feeling. No one asks how her sessions were or did you have a good day today anxiety wise. No one says I'm proud of you for turning of to class when its so hard to.
Yet, if you have a cold or a bruise, everyone asks 'are you ok' or "how are you feeling'?
Please talk with your family or friends, it will help normalise mental health conditions.

I have this condition too . 25 years later I still have it but nowhere near as bad . I hope she knows it will get better . It often comes on young , but eases with age . It’s an horrific illness , but I promise it gets better.
