Thankyou to everyone how wrote in telling me their stories about their own baby names. I feel heaps better now that I know I'm not the only one out there who feels this way.
I'm trying to take the advice of most people and come up with a cute nickname and try to get it to stick. Changing the name isn't an option as its a name my hubby loves and I want to let him keep it as I did have most of the say in our other kids.
For everyone who asked his name is Ezekiel. I don't totally hate the name but I do feel it is a hard name to say, it just doesn't seem to roll off the tongue like most names do. And it just seems like such a long name especially for a little kid. I often think of him when he is older and introducing himself to people and I just cringe lol.
Anyway just wanted to say thanks to fellow im's for yor support and making me feel better!

What about Zeke or Zee I've heard both as nicknames for Ezekiel

Atleast you know his going to be one of a kind in his school classes. My kids all have unusal names and are all one of a kind in their classes at school. In my sons kindy class he has 3 Sophia's and it's very confusing for the kids.
Im glad you could take some good advice from it! As i saw some very unhelpful fb comments and id hoped they hadnt upset you. Just for the record, i work in a school and have heard many unusual names, and to be honest when i hear a name like 'peter' or 'david' i think 'hmm thats odd to see'! As im so use to seeing one of a kind names. I think its a lovely name and im sure your little boy will grow into it x
Thankyou for your kind comment, I did see a few harsh comments on there but when you write in you always see at least one person who doesn't have a nice comment, most people where really nice about it, thankyou for saying its a lovely name, it's nice to know that other people like the name when you chose one!
