Menstrual cups

Hi all, I'm considering trying menstrual cups and would love some feedback on them. Are they easy to use? Do they leak? What brands are best and where do you purchase? How long can you leave them in/how much do they hold? Etc any advice recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you

I must of missed it, I'm not on facebook or this group everyday so often miss things. If it gets bumped I will read it but have scrolled through and can't see it

OMG best thing I ever bought. It did take a bit to get it right and I had to wear pads as well for the first cycle or 2 but once you get the hang of it, no leaks and dont feel it. The first few times take it out in the shower as until you get the hang of it, it can be a bit messy. Needs to be emptied every 12 hours, and can just be rinsed and re-used straight away, at the end of the cycle you need to sterilise it by putting it in a saucepan in boiling water for 3 mins. I got mine off ebay its meLuna brand ( I think) it came in a 'starter pack' which had 2 sizes so could find the right one. I have heard the Diva cup is good but it was a little expensive for something I wasn't sure if I would be able to use. BIT TMI - I have found it really helpful as we are trying for a baby and I can see if it is clotty or darker than usual which is noted down for the doctor as we are having issues with conceiving

Love love love mine. I have heavy 7-9day periods. First 3 days i empty 3-4 times a day after that just before bed and first thing in the morning. Little messy to use first time (practice in the shower) took me a couple cycles to get to know my body. You do need to get pretty intimate with yourself while your learning. Now i have it mastered i NEVER leak. I even wear light colors during my period in THAT confident in no leaks, something i would have NEVER done with tampons. Swimming is fine too (tampons always made me feel uncomfortable in water)
I didn't want to spend big bucks on something i hated so i bought a cheapie on ebay for $17. I'm going to get anothee more expensive brand soon to compare either a diva or luna probably.
