Wedding dress

I was meant to get married this year, the wedding never happened and my relationship is over. Now I have this beautiful wedding dress that I haven't even tried on hanging in my spare room. What would you do with it? Keep it in the hopes you may get married in the future? Sell it? It was $2400.

I wouldn't want to wear it to marry the right person when you bought it for the wrong one. If you need the money sell it. If you don't, raffle it off and give the funds to a charity

Sell it and recoup some $$.

Sell it. By the time you meet someone new and get married it will be out of date anyway.

Its the kind of dress that won't go out of fashion. Its classic. If I could, I would post a photo of it.

They’re good in theory but I’ve been trying to donate my dress for 3 years and they’re always full.

As lovely as that is, I've already donated one dress to them a couple of years ago.

Post the pic- I have a mate who can’t find the right wedding dress. Maybe it’s yours and it’s meant to be?

Sell it and go on a mini holiday for yourself! ,if you do get married in the future by a more expensive and better model to fit new man

I'm the total opposite to everybody else.

You bought that dress because you fell in love with it and the style suited you. You didn't buy it for him. You bought it for you.

So this relationship is now over, but you'll find that when the time comes and you find someone who will love and cherish you, your style will probably be 95% the same.

I am presuming your ex-fiance didn't see the dress. His loss. The man that gets to see you in it is the winner.

I married 27 years ago and even if something were to happen to my marriage now, I'd still pick the same style dress as I wore back then - just a more modern version with less puffy sleeves (Yes early 90's puffy sleeves!!!) and no hideous big bow on the back (thank god its not in any pictures!!)
