Impact of stress?

Do you know if contraception is less effective when you're under large amounts of stress?
I'm on depo, definitely not pregnant and never missed my shots in fact I get them every 10 instead of 12 at the doctors recommendation.
The couple of months have been an incredibly stressful time and it's all fine too a head in the last 2 weeks both at work and home. Coincidentally that happens to coincide with a few changes I noticed that used to only happen around my ovulation time. Heightened sense of smell, discharge, sensitive and tender breasts, emotional, etc.
I'm 110% sure there's no chance of pregnancy but I have no idea what would cause these symptoms again

I had the same symptoms on Depo around the time of my wedding. When did you last have a shot?

Pregnancy symptoms are really common with these types of contraception. I'm not sure if stress has any impact but it is normal.

I’m not sure either as I’ve never been on Depo. But stress can do some crazy things to the body so I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Maybe speak to your doc? Is it possible the level or hormones in the Depo are no longer suited to you? So you need a change etc?
