Realestate problems

Hi everyone
I informed my realestate yesterday that my husband and I have separated due to DV and just asked the question how do I get him off the lease?
Next thing I get messages from my ex about the situation they had sent him a intent to vacate. Seriously is there any standards in situations like DV that the realestate must follow as this could have caused potential harm? Did she have a right to send him that message within minutes of me asking? I was at Work at the time, I felt sick not wanting to go home just thinking of what the outcome could be. I am so angry with the realestate.
NOT FOR FACEBOOK PLEASE!

Have a look on the RTA site I think it covers removing someone due to dv.

I would probably email them and let them know this is the option and to review their handling as what they did could have caused harm. It was a sensitive conversation with you it should have been only with you.

If it was me, I would take my name off the lease and move now. I would not want my ex to know where I live, for my own safety. Is that an option for you?

You're advising them that you want a party removed from the lease that isn't yourself - i assume they would have to investigate/validate that as part of their role as the property manager? Not trying to sound harsh. Maybe they have a process to see if the other party will amicably withdraw from the lease as an initial step? Investigate your options further with your state RTA and/or civil tribunal.

Good luck!
