Xanthelasma

Hi, would like to know anyone else out there that has Xanthelasma (cholesterol deposits) around their eyes? I developed theses ugly plaques around my eyes during my pregnancy. My cholesterol is in normal range. I have seen a dermatologist and had tca treatment applied to them just waiting for results. My question is if anyone has had Xanthelasma and did you successfully get rid of them? I am very self conscious of mine and tired of using makeup everyday to hide them. TIA
