Breast pain/Menopause/Hysterectomy

Hello! Two years ago I had a hysterectomy and everythibg was removed except for one ovary. So I don't get periods but still have hormonal fluctuations etc. the last few weeks my breasts have been continuously sore. I'm assuming this is some joyous peri-menopause thing but am wondering if others have experienced this. How do you know when it's menopause related when you aren't getting periods? And has anyone had success in treating such things without some form of HRT? I spent so many years in pain due to endometriosis and have had a lovely two years pain free... not looking forward to several years of this now! Any advice or similar experiences I'd love to hear!

I'm in the serious stage of perimenopause. The symptoms vary for everyone and can vary in intensity.

You should talk to your GP about your breast pain. It's a good idea to ask for a ultrasound or mammogram of your breasts to rule out any other cause of the pain.

I have opted the HRT path because I'd hit the hot flush side and I wasn't able to get any sleep. My doctor has recommended I only take it for 2 years.
