20 month old possibly claustrophobic

Has anyone had a child with claustrophobic tendencies? I took my 20month old to the gp today and he has done a referral to a paediatrician as from our discussion he thinks my son could have some form of claustrophobia and a couple of sensory issues going on.
My son: won't sleep through the night- he never has
Panics at doors being closed
Hates being restrained in a pram and struggles holding hands
Can't drink sitting up *possible issue with his swallow reflex*
Doesn't wave
Is off in his own world, happy not to interact with anyone
There's alot more things he does/doesn't do but does anyone have any experience with this

Yes, I do. Definitely go through the process of seeing the peadiatrician. My son did turn out to have autism. Doesn't mean that's what is going on with your child though.

Good luck

I'd look into autism, see how many boxes you can tick, and don't listen to anyone who says it's too early to diagnose. It's not. Aspect (autism autralia) do early screening from 12 months of age
