Confused with centrelink payments.

Confused with centrelink payments.

Hi. A little confused with centrelink payments. We recently had our third baby and thought it was going to be easy to just add her to our ftb but it was so confusing. Long story short, it seems I'll be getting $300 less now that I've just added my baby. We have a 4 year old, 2 year old and a newborn.
Has this happened to anyone else. We were getting $500 for 2, now $200 for 3.
So confused! Hubby males $50,000 a year.
And I took all the paper work and everything into centrelink so I thought I had done it all correctly.

You shouldn't be getting less for 3. Go to the human services website and use their calculator. You should be getting FTB A for 3 kids, FTB B which is about $120/f if you only have one income and rent assistance if you rent. I have 1 teenager only and get $400/f (FTB A & rent assistance) so something is very wrong.

Are you receiving or advised you were going to claim Paid Parental Leave? If so you won't receive Family Tax Benefit B. Do you need to reverify your rent for Rent Assistance. If it's been more than 12 months since you last verified Rent assistance can stop.
Good luck.
