Asymmetrical Tonsils!

Has anyone had experience with having ONE (constantly) larger tonsil as an adult? What, if anything, was the outcome?

It can be as simple as one tonsil gets infected and the other doesn't. I wouldn't stress. See your doctor and follow there advice. You can also just have genetically larger tonsils. My sons are unusually large, but they cause him no problems and are not infected.

If it doesn't cause you any pain or affect your breathing I wouldn't be too worried.
If you're like me and suffer frequent bouts of tonsillitis (my tonsils are enormous when they aren't infected but when they are one side is always double its normal size, to the point it affects my hearing in that side and almost makes me feel lop sided lol) it would be worth mentioning to your gp! Chances are it's just one of those weird things that happen. My brother in law was growing a 3rd ear on his chest! An unusually large tonsil isn't quite that cool but still unique 😂
