Would you complain about your realestate?

Hi IM's,
There shouldn't be a need to post this to FB, thanks admin. :)

I'm just curious to hear from people that have had to make a complaint about their realestate.
What sort of outcome came from your complaint, and did it make continuing to live on the property challenging in any way?

We currently need to resign the lease but we are hesitant as we'd hate to be stuck here with the problems we've been having, yet we're also worried that they may ask us to vacate the premises if we do make a formal complaint to try and resolve the matters (as we've tried discussing our concerns with our property manager, who agreed the problems and behaviour were extremely unacceptable, yet the problems only became worse afterwards).
Would you let them slide (as we'd also find it extremely difficult to move at this current stage, and don't want to as we love our neighbors and the street is quite)?
Just a quick note -
The issues currently range from failing to fix problems that are occurring or taking unacceptable lengths in time for urgent repairs, to letting themselves onto our property without our pernission, to harassing letters in regards to rent which is always at least a week in advanced.

Is it the agent or the property owner?

If it's the owner you are waisting your energy and you are better off moving. Some owners are just shit. Been there done that. Nobody can make them pick up there game. And yeah the owner can turn around and say I don't want to resign you. Best way to deal with bad property owners is move.

If it's the property manager then we complained to his boss at the real estate agents and explained what the problem is. They basically had him fired and let him out of our lease early with no cost to us.

One property manager I complained to the owner direct after they came to fix our bathroom sink. It literally fell off the wall and had been that way for 6 weeks because the property manager kept forgetting to get it fixed! The owner changed managers.

Either sign first and then push to get repairs. Or prepare to move.real estates can be real assholes in my experience. you can ask or escalate but if you make waves even if they are in the wrong they can punish you with lease renewal offers etc. And life with a shit real estate is not worth it.
